Fortune Fold doesn't collect any data about you.
What the app stores
Your fortune history, favorites, settings, and the optional first name you can enter in Settings are stored only on your device. They are never sent to us or anyone else. Deleting the app deletes them.
What the app doesn't do
Fortune Fold has no accounts, ads, analytics, or tracking, and it never connects to the internet. We don't sell, share, or receive any personal information.
Hinge and device sensors
On iPhone Duo, the app reads the hinge angle only while it is open, to crack the fortune cookie. This reading is used on the device and never stored or transmitted.
Sharing
When you share a fortune, the app creates an image containing only the fortune text, its category, and the Fortune Fold name, and hands it to the iOS share sheet. You choose where it goes; anything that happens after that is governed by the app or service you pick.
Children
Fortune Fold is suitable for all ages and collects no information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
